Default Throttle Cable Feedback

Just put 10" Wild1 Outlawz on my 2012 Iron 883 and these bars absolutely max out the throttle cables. As a result the cables are rest on the top of the engine...is this ok or will the heat eventually damage them?

I have max out my budget for now so can't pick up new cables...want to know how quickly I need to put a focus on this though. I'm hoping the shielding on the factory throttle cables are good though for this to not be an issues.

Feedback/input appreciated.

Have you tried re-routing the cables differently through the front forks and the area around there?
