Squeaky Sportster
1986 sportster squeak or chirp sound coming from what sounds like the front of the primary side. Checked and loosen the primary chain a little and checked and loosened the clutch a little no change in noise. Not as bad when cold and clutch in or not makes no difference. Does get worst at higher RPMs but does not seem to be in direct proportions to the RPMs

Yes a some when it is revved up a little. I going to check all the mounting bolt and exhaust system when I get home. But I can't imagine anything behind that cover that could make that noise. Especially since I did loosen the chain and clutch up a little with no change to the noise at all, but it sounds like that is where it is coming from.
