2007 exhaust problem quick fix?
Hey. I have no stock pipes, and my Bassani radial sweepers busted a few days ago, a crack completely separated the outer wall by the oxygen sensor on the rear pipe. I found a nice replacement exhaust but its a 12 week wait, by then it'll be october in CT riding season would soon be over. My expert mechanic told me welding is not an option, just total replacement and to get a set of cheap pipes to get me through the summer.
I have a stage 1 upgrade with a fuelpak mapped to the Bassani's. Anybody have any suggestions to get a quick cheap replacement or to just find a nice exhaust that I can get a lot quicker? Id really like to wait for a pair of sikpipes, but I pout every day I cant ride. Or is there a used bike parts website Im missing somewhere besides craigs list and ebay? my local shops only have chromed pipes that are big money in stock. I just don't know what to do. I just want to get back on the road as soon as I can without hurting her. I will take in sincere consideration any and all suggestions. Thank you
