Default New handlebars, need examples

Hey all, the first change I'm looking to make to my bike are the handlebars and the seat. Here are pictures of what my bike looks like now and what I'd like it to look like, with some differences in the gas tank and wheels. When I shop around for handlebars for ones similar to the bike in the picture, what would they be called and what should I be looking for? Is there a certain size I need? Any pictures/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Bars will be 1" diameter with dimples, looks like the bars in the pic are straight (zero pullback) drag bars. They come in different widths, you'll have to figure out what is most comfortable.

Word of warning, or maybe you can use this as a gauge. But I ordered a set of drag bars 29" long with a 4" pullback, and with stock risers they JUST BARELY make the controls touch the tank when you turn lock to lock.

Oh okay thanks a lot, I'll take that into consideration. Looking for something low but comfortable.

I found drag bars just a little too low and wound up with Biltwell Trackers. Much more comfortable and they still look good enough.

Do you mean that you plan to leave your wheels and tank as-is or do you have plans for those too?

I will be changing those too. I'd like to do a flat black tank and white walled wheels. But those will come after I do the smaller cheaper changes!

Maybe the drag bars are little too extreme. The biltwell look like a good alternative

Perhaps you already know this, but your Nightster tank is valuable. The gloss black versions are hard to come by. One like yours without dents will easily fetch over $400 on eBay. Probably closer to $500. A red Iron tank with a scratch of unknown depth went for $400 last week.

Wow, that's great to know, I actually did not know that. So that's something I would leave original. Boy am I glad I began this thread lol
