That is a batwing and goes against the sportster look..... It's sporbagster..... To each their own but if that is the look I wanted I'd buy a lazy boy on wheels! Even then if I was goin bagger it would be the cool bagger......road glide! My ride has to have a certain "style" mixed well with "function".

Oh, ok. Sorry I broke the "Sportster code". Somehow don't see a lightweight fairing and bags as a Barcalounger. Whatever. When you've had one for a bit, you'll see that a lot of the attraction is Sporty's are easy to make personal. I sold a real Barcalounger of a V-Star to go back to something lighter and more basic. Some wind protection and storage fits my commuter/ weekender needs pretty well, without the weight and bulk of a BT. Redid suspension, so it has some actual travel and dampening. XLX bars, and Mustang seat. I'm good with it. If you want to go full SOA ape/quarter fairing lowered struts and baffleless drag pipes, it'd go there easily, too. Make it your own.......
Well considering the two fairings the OP is debating, I'd say you are not in the same ballpark as him. That why I put up the comment and said to each their own. Just not my style! Thanks for the love back brother!! Insecure or what! Man someone can **** on my bike all they want, I don't get upset cause it is what I want and I'm not fishing for compliments! The bike is like me..... Like it or don't.... I don't give a ****!
to each their own
I prefer the left you prefer the right, no hard feelings dude!

Pretty much it. Just showing a different route. seen "club type" bikes running batwings with apes. Go figure. I've been trying different things. what I'd really like is somewhere in between the two styles. More then a 1/4, but less then the wing. The closest I've seen is the Tracy "Black Rain", long out of production. Bare bike wasn't bad. Like the look, no buffeting. Headwinds sucked, tho.Tried a plain "Police type" windshield a neighbor loaned me. Hated it in wind, really shook the bars. I'll stay with the BW until something really strikes me. YMMV, of course.....
