A poll isn't going to help you unless both systems have been tested by a voter. The only definitive tests I have seen on exhaust systems have been done on Hammer Performance's dyno...the Patriot has yet to be beaten in top numbers if that is what you seek.
I had a thunderheader. Sound is cool. Power is alright for us daily driving. Price sucks! Finish sucks a big one! I had the flange on the front cylinder break. Had it with my efi nightster and used it on my nightster when I switched to carb.
I own both pipes...I like them both. Tough to beat patriot price. Thunderheader has a more of a crackle attitude sound... patriot is deep and loud when on the throttle. I have sound clips of both pipes if you want.
All pipes break at some point.....proper mounting technique has a little to do with it.
I like the midrange pull of the thunderheader and the higher rpm pull of the patriot
