Earlier this spring/summer my wifes sporty started acting up.Her speedo and turn signals would come and go.
When starting the bike her headlight and turn signals will flash off and on.Headlight stays on but turn signals come and go with no guarantee.
After buying a connector that cost $1.00 and and the local H-D shop adding another $180.00 to the bill she still has this problem.supposedly the shop chatted with people from Harley.
Any advice would be appreciated.
The typical advise is to check battery ground locations and to clean/dialectic grease the fuses. It sounds like a short. Does the headlight flash off and on without the bike running? Vibration of the bike (while the motor is running) can cause a short to appear and disappear. Systematically tracing wires, checking for current and/or continuity, checking connectors, etc. is a PITA, but it's how you find electrical issues. It takes some patience, sometimes.
