I picked up a 2003 Harley Sportster 883 100 year anniversary about two weeks ago. She had 412 miles on her and picked her up for a steal at $4200, beautiful condition, looked brand new from the dealer. Aside from changing out the oil, any other recommendations on fluids that should be changed or not messed with, being that she is ten years old I wanted to take care of some of the main essentials.

 

All the fluids should be changed oil, tranny and brake system. I'd also replace the rubber. If your mechanically included you could buy a service manual and do a good once over. If not take it to an Indy or Dealer who can perform all theses tasks for you. Ride safe.
