So I was originally going to try and get a Dyna but just don't have the funds with twins coming. So I was wondering if anyone here has done a 88 or 90 big bore kit to their Sportster/ Nightster? Who makes the best one, and I know this is just an opinion but looking for pros n cons.

Thanks Tef

It's a lot of work and will likely cost you about as much as selling your bike and just buying a dyna. I've heard anywhere from about $3k-5k when you're finished.

Yeah I heard up to 5k too. Contact Hammer Performance and sign up on XLF. They give discounts to forum members there. Do some searches there and you'll find a couple of people asking the same question. Right now, Hammer seems to be the creme of the crop. Good luck and pics when you do it.

If you're expecting twins you have more important and bigger things to bother yourself with than spending lots on your bike! An 88/90 inch Sportster will cost around as much as an upgrade to a Dyna. How about a 1250cc kit instead?! We have plenty of useful info in here about them and you will get a decent improvement in performance, while still having funds for the twins........
