So here is my take on some decent storage that is quickly removed. I used a bag that is covered in MOLLE/PALS webbing. Under it is a small rack that I got from JP Cycles. Any ex-mil guys will know how to use it. Its pretty simple, you just weave the strap through the webbing and around the rack. It will prevent it from moving left/right and back/forth. I got this bag from CountyComm for $35. Some bungee cords and your set. Removes in less than 5 minutes. And with all the webbing you can attached other bags, roll up your jacket etc....
Nice bag! I have a rack I made on the back of my ride but I don't have a good bag. I like the strapping on yours. I've been looking at the water proof gear bags kayakers use.
Is that the XL EOD bag? If it is they have it on sale right now for $25.97. Heckuva deal. I"ll bet you could take a pair of them, weave a belt type strap between them and make a cheap, durable set of throw over saddlebags. They wouldn't be waterproof, but some scotch guard sprayed on them would take care of a drizzle.

It is. And with the webbing, I figured the possibilities are kind of endless. I don't do much touring, but between this and the Black MOLLE butpack I have on my swing arm, it fits all my stuff for work and then some. Of course they also have smaller bags, so what ever fits your needs!
Brilliant.. MOLLE bags FTW. LA Police Gear tends to have sales on their house bags, keep an eye out. I have a really nice backpack I use at work every shift I paid like $40 for, great quality.
