Default Extra fuel on a 48

Hey where are you guys with 48s putting extra fuel. I love the look of the bike with the peanut tank. I thought I saw some pics out the with an extra can like a fuel bottle for camping attached to a bike. Just can't remember where. Let me know how you haul extra gas. Pics would be cool as well.

I can't remember the name of the company but there is a company that makes a saddlebag and it has a spot on the back of it that holds a small can of gas. Ill see if i can find it for you.

EDIT: here is a link www.ebay.com/itm/like/160922773419?lpid=82

Forgive me if I'm off topic, but I thought long and hard about getting a canister for extra fuel, best way to carry it etc. I just ended up going 3.3 tank swap. Love the look of the 2.1, but for everyday use (I commute) it just wasn't worth it.

The actual act of swapping looks easy as hell; you might consider swapping out tanks for specific rides/weeks/months. I'm just waiting on the new tank in the mail, I'll be finding out soon enough.

Amazon has MSR or primus fuel bottles. I have the 1.5 liter bottle. I put it in my little side bag. Holds about a 1/4 gallon. just enough for an emergency to get a few more miles to a gas station.

How about this one? Think this one is the same that La Rosa uses on their swing arm bags. You can strap it to your bike or put in your side bag.

In July this year I went to Nice, France on vacation and I saw a really cool old school looking 48 and this guy had gone for a quite unique solution. He had made a bracket, kind of like the ones for those hard saddle bags, to which he had mounted a small 5 liter (1,3 gallons) army green jeep canister. Unfortunately I didn't take any pics of it. But it looked really cool...

This is what I did. I love the 3.3. I found that the hardest part was getting the fuel pump into the new tank. It kinda wiggles in. Be patient.
