I am alive!
Glad you are ok with just minor injuries...
Yes I was mad, but waiting in the ground for the paramedic for 15 minutes, make you think about a lot of stuff (Wife, your kids, etc). I was able to talk to here after 1:30 minutes, I try to be calm (But my face and my tone, you really can tell I was ****) and be a gentlemen, but I told here, "you almost kill me. Please watch for motorcycle and give them our space.", etc.
I am sure she was using here phone. I hope she never forget this and remember to give us our space.
Everytime I make a stop, either at a light, a stop sign, or in traffic, I look in the mirrors for people approaching me, and even before they're getting close I tap the brakes at least 4-5 times in rapid succession [my cheap flash module, LOL]. I also try to keep myself to one side of cars waiting ahead of me, allowing myself some room to make manuevers quickly if I see someone coming and not slowing. Sounds kinda' paranoid I know but you have to do all you can to stay ahead of the game and ALIVE!
Hope you get things settled quickly with the bike repairs so you can be out on the road again!
=8^)
