I need some help! I recently changed out my stock AC kit for a Kurankyn Mach2 co-ax kit and rejetted the carb with a stage 1 kit on my 05 883C. Installation went okay, took a little while because I'm new to working on my bike. Started it up and now there is a knocking noise in the motor that was not there before install. Does any one have any suggestions on what to do?
Thanks
sorry about your problem,, I'm of no help,, but for future reference,,
this is why its best to take it to a trained professional in the first place,, save yourself the aggravation and time and possible damage or being stranded on the road. Any shop would have only charged you about $100 to install all of that..

What he said. I love it when a customer brings something in that they "tried" to do themselves and made it way worse and more expensive.
Looks like some "tough love guys" are on the forum today. Seriously, if all you did was change that superficial stuff, you should not have caused any problems. The stock AC probably muffled a lot of engine noise.
