I enjoy being at a place in life where most of those things no longer cause me heartburn. For the most part I'll just wave and smile. It's all part of the ride.
While I would generally agree that the ball bearings are a good idea - do me a favor and don't leave them on the roads in SoCal. LOL. Can you imagine hitting that same object again later on the freeway doing 70, or having it bounce up and hit you in the face because a cager ran over it?! Sounds like a bad idea to me.

I would have loved to just smile and wave but she didnt give me the chance. I also didn't mention that after she whizzed by me in the school zone, she then proceeded to run ared light at the next intersection and then proceeded to pull into the bank.. Mandatory -senior citizen drivers license re-testing!!
Hey, now -- you're ok.... and sounds like she never will be. GLAD you're ok. I ride bicycles and motorcycles AND I drive cars, AND my dad is dealing with giving up driving... so I am sensitive to all concerns... We all can do better about looking, being smart, driving defensively, blahblahblah...
In honor of Goth being aok and giving us all a sobering reminder, let's all go into a parking lot for at least 10-15 minutes this week and practice our emergency handling... how about it?

Sad thing is you can practice all you want, still won't prevent a cager from not killing you. Left turns at intersections, changing lanes, pulling outin front of ya,and one of my worst, hit ya from behind... Sorry, I'mnotso forgivingto those that don't watch what their doing and put others lives at stake...
I has six young guys almost take my front fender off one day. They were driving chevettes. Two cars racing i guess and when when we hit the next red light I put my kickstand down and got off my bike. They took off running the red light,I would think 6 young guys could have kicked my ***.They must not have thought so.maybe it was the you stupid mfer,a$$hole I'm going to freaking kill you coming out of my mouth I don't know.Maybe it was the chain wallet.maybe my face was red with anger. One thing I do know is everytime I get a new bike some cager tries to kill me.It has happened six times so far on the first day i got the bike. The ball bearings are a bad plan I went down because of a small stone before. My pride and a couple bike parts are that all were hurt.I went down from a flat tire before too.You never know on a bike so be careful out there people.
Well, just be careful out there. Here in the North they aren't ready for us yet I guess. Gravel & Grannys OH MY!!!
That would be all true Andy. I will play it real cool this Friday when my three rides will be back on the road...
including my new King. Man but i can't wait to scoot that thing.
