Default 88 ci Sportster will be done this week!

I'm finallly gonna get my 2012 Sportster Forty-Eight back from the shop this week! After a couple of months of waiting for parts and machine work from Zipper's Performance, I will finally have my 88 ci Sportster! Cant wait to see what kind of numbers she will be putting out. I will be posting pictures and dyno results asap.

I have often wondered why Harley never put an 88ci motor in the sporty. I bet they had trouble keeping the front tire on the ground.

The suspense of this build is beginning to feel like a tune in next week teaser. I feel violated waiting for finished project only to get the tune in next week same bat time same bat channel. Bowhunter I know your excited and hope you bring us a monster.

Haha Try being the one who has the bike in the shop and having them give you the teaser from Zipper's Performance! I've been very anxious and I promise I will bring you a monster. All that they are waiting on are the pistons and heads to come in on Tuesday. Zipper's have told me they shipped off the parts 5 different times and each time its going to be a few days. A few days goes by and they say they shipped the parts today and it will be a few days. It has been very frustrating but the wait will be well worth it. What took so long was getting the heads and pistons thermal coated. Well it will finally be done and I promise to have the end result this week.

Airframer, I would like to say that you will be seeing videos like that but im not gonna attempt to learn to ride and sustain a wheelie on my Sportster until I have another bike in case I end up not doing so well. I will be taking videos once I break it in and can open it up for real!
