Hey all! Welcome to watching our awesome trip unfold! On this blog, you’ll be able to see the pictures of where we are as well as what we are doing moment to moment of the trip. Every night I’ll try to write up a little journal of what happened during the day so you all can see what we’re up to!

Let me also say, that if anyone is interested we also will be posting in a tumblr page which will be updated throughout the day. The three of us just graduated the United States Naval Academy yesterday and are now ensigns in the United States Navy. The academy has generously given us 30 days of leave to do with as we please, and so we decided a motorcycle trip would be a good idea.

As all good things do, the idea for the trip began on a bar napkin at the Naval Academy golf club bar sometime in the fall of 2013. We were planning ever since and wouldn’t you know it, we’re only a day away now.

What we came up with was an 8000 mile trip that will take us almost everywhere cool in the country. From NYC to Niagara falls, Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone, redwood forest, vegas, grand canyons and Memphis just to name a few.

The three of us have three Harley Davidson motorcycles which we purchased from Classic Iron in Fredericksburg, VA. They were great to us and were quick to jump on board with our trip.

We also were very fortunate to have some other really awesome sponsors for our trip!

Roadtrippers.com, who we have been planing our trip with since the beginning is an awesome group of people and have been really awesome with supporting our trip.

DK Customshas jumped on board and provided us with some great information for our trip due to the owner being an avid rider himself. Without him telling us about snow up in the mountains in June, we would never have prepared for it!

And the Duluth Trading Companythe guys who famously made Ballroom jeans, have provided us with some sweet riding gear which we will be showing off to whoever wants to listen! Their waterproof firehose pants are going to be awesome!

So again welcome to the blog! It’s truly going to be a great adventure and I can’t wait to share it with you all!
