While I vote no for the whitewalls, to the guys who say they're a bitch to clean, ever hear of Bleche White? Mucho easy

White walls only on fat rear tires. To me a 48 doesn't look right with white walls unless you are doing a bigger two tone tank, beach bars & a 50's style.

I second that white walls are very easy to maintain. Put about 5,ooo on so far & only bleach white'd the tire once. It really stays pretty clean.

Here's my XL12ooN with a WW.

Yeah I agree with grancuda, put a whitewall on the rear, that's what I plan on doing.

I like the whitewall on the rear-only look myself,
I plan on throwin a shinko double w/w on mine soon.

I'm going white walls on my next tire change but my bike more retro lookin. I don't think they would work on any Sportster of new other than a 72.
