Default 1999 Sportster Front Brakes

I am building a Street Tracker out of a 1999 XL1200S. I swapped out my stock cast 19" front wheel for a wire spoke 19" wheel and the stock calipers (dual disk front) are up against the wire spokes. Are there any alternatives cheaper than buying Jaybrake shallow back calipers?

Signed, Puzzled...

No, those single pot calipers won't fit with spokes. You'll either have to use later model calipers with adapters or find a narrower caliper setup. Older dyna fxdx's came with dual disc wire wheels if you can find that whole setup.

Thanks,

I was afraid of that.

Just to close the loop on my question. The best solution for me was to convert the front in to a mid glide, with wider triple trees and spacers for the rotors, giving me about 3/4 inch of clearance on either side for the brakes.
