A few recent upgrades to my '14 48.....

Oberon adjustable levers...came from England, apparently they're no US manufacturers for adjustable/shorty levers....these are incredible because you can keep your index finger wrapped around the grip while working the clutch with the last 3 fingers....very safe...

Performance Machine intake love the look of this...it will occasionally spit some fuel spray on your leg....LOL

Brembo 4 piston caliper & Roland Sands 13" floating rotor Coming from a sport bike with double 6-piston calipers, I felt the brakes really needed improvement....this setup cost around $600 and is WELL WORTH IT. Besides the caliper and the 13" rotor, you'll need a caliper spacer bracket to move the caliper out to the big rotor....

Snakeskin seat cover, Harley oil cooler, & Figure Machine billet footpegs Three other mods that, frankly, I couldn't live without....the seat cover, from England, fits over the stock seat...staple it in place....Oil cooler: I don't have to tell you how important an oil cooler is for an air-cooled engine....the footpegs: I couldn't corner with the stock "drop-down" pegs....what, are you supposed to go around a corner totally upright? WTF! These pegs, which are mounted upside down, look at them on Figure Machine's web site and you'll see why, have much more clearance than the dangerous stock ones, and they're more comfortable, too.....

On that brake set-up, you running 2 adapters? I'm in the process of putting a 4 piston radial mount set-up on mine w/13" rotor but I have to figure out the brake hose, need a 35" long one.

No, it's only one adapter...the Brembo caliper came with a Harley-specific bracket, so it looks like 2 brackets....I'm using the stock brake hose

Where did you order the caliper and bracket from?

Found the Brembo caliper and the spacer bracket on ebay...I like the Brembo caliper, but the XR 4-piston caliper makes a good setup, you can get them at any Harley dealer and they don't need an adapter bracket like the Brembo does, although you still need the caliper spacer to run a 13" rotor....

Wow nice mods!! You planning on doing any brake upgrades in the rear? I'm thinking about doing the XR caliper and floating rotor along with new pads and ss lines next spring. Keep up the good work and pictures, I love the pics lol.

Can you post a link to the Levers? I had ASV levers on my GSXR, similar to yours and I loved them, but havent seen anything like that for the sportster.
