Trying to relocate my speedo on a 14 iron and the dummy lights and the speedo cable is one connector not two like older bikes what are my options?
Couple of options...
The easiest is to relocate the dummy lights with speedo...like this...see pics down at the bottom of this LINK
Next is to relocate the speedo and not use the dummy lights.
Third is that, while the speedo is different and the cable is different, it is still the same principle as the pre 2014. It IS 2 different wires sets in the same sleeve. You should be able to remove the sleeve and send the dummy lights in one direction and the speedo connector in another direction.
the thing is they can be separated but a wire or two from the dummy light connector goes into the connector for the speedo so it limits how far I can stretch it

I am not at all sure how the canbus system will react if you cut it and make it longer.
