If you like what you picked out, then you made the right choice. Really. There is no justification for any flaming. I ride a 1986 883 Sporty and I love it. I'm gonna upgrade in a couple of years once I get my 2 older daughters into college but for now, I cant get the smile off my face. If it has HD on the tank, it cant be that bad!!! Enjoy the ride and congrats. Its a very slick lookin scoot and you'll be turnin heads on it. Trust me!!
hi pvd,
glad to hear you made your choice and are really excited about it. cant wait to see some pics of YOUR bike when you get a chance (ie. are off of it long enough...lol). the best advice i could give you is take the MSF course in your area soon, since this will give you alot of info for road riding and safety. you can also get some discounts on your insurance for doing so. good luck with things and hope to see some pics soon. stay safe
Congrats on the new bike. It looks awesome. If thats the one that felt right, than that was the right one. In my own opinion, I think you will enjoy that one more than a 1200C. If I am not mistaking, I think the 883R is a little better balanced than a 1200C. The wider front tire should give you a little more stability too. Regardless, enjoy the bike and be safe out there.
Well you finally made a decision.[sm=signs003.gif] thats a good looking scoot. I think you will enjoy it. Keep us posted on how you like it and what you do to it.
I can't wait to pick up the bike... I just bought a Jeep Wrangler less than a year ago.. and the gas mileage on is horrible.. but its a Jeep.. so now I will have two black beauty's. I will post pics as soon as I pick her up... Im just a little nervous to drive off the lot with her being such a beginner... just having everyone at the Dealership staring... But I will hopefully muster up enough courage..
Thanks for all the great support.. Feels like a great community..
