I work in a prison and a con overheard me and another officer talking about bikes and he pipes up about his ultra (yeah right) and then calls spotys girls bikes. By the looks of him he's probably his cellies GIRL but I think he fits all 4 above.

People bash the sportster because they need to feel like what they have is better. It's always either people who don't have a bike atall or people who paid a lot more for something which is at best not any better and at worst notas good.It'ssad how insecuresome people are...

at 6'3 your gonna look big on any bike , im 6'1 and weigh 230lbs and I look big on my sporty and on an ultra . I had a guy tell me I looked like I had a tire shoved up my *** and I replied I wonder whatyou would look like with my size 11 boot shoved up your *** , suddenly my motorcycle wasnt the topic of discussion any more.

LOL! A girl asked me what kinda a bike I rode. I told her a Honda. She said that's nice. I then said I was kidding and rode a Harley Sportster. Her eyes lit up and asked if she could see it. End of discussion. Sportsters rule! True story..

yeah theres this guy at work, hes the huntin manly mans type. When i told everyone i was getting a harley, first thing he said is "whatever you do dont get a sportster, and if you do for gods sake dont get an 883, those are chick bikes, sportsters are chick bikes anyways, but 883's are really chick bikes...." he still gives me a hard time everytime i ride it to work, but the funny thing is he doesnt have a bike.
