Default Forward Control Options

I picked up a 2014 48 a couple weeks ago and have been doing a little work on it here and there.

One of the few complaints I have with it is the positioning of the levers on the forward controls. With the arch of my boots on the peg I find that levers are a little too far away for my liking. When I have the heal of my boot against the peg the distance is fine but feels a little unstable.

I have done a search but would like some suggestions to bring the levers in closer to the pegs. Thanks for the help.

I wear size 9 1/2 to 10 boots so I know my feet aren't small.

The front to rear is adjustable just readjust them. The heel of your boot is suppose to be below the peg not on the peg.

Thanks, I will have to take a look at that when I get home in a week. I know my heel should be behind the peg which is why I wanted to adjust the pegs or find a new set that fit better.

how tall are you? Im short - 5'1" and my sportster Low was modified to forward controls. Im a bit uncomfortable too where the peg is in relation to the pedals. It was recommended that I buy a Easy Reach Forward Control Conversion kit which pulls everything back by about 2 inches. Don't know if this is an option for you if the adjustments don't work.

I am 5'9". It is not a issue of reach it is an issue of lever to peg distance. When my heal is behind the peg it puts the lever at my toe and I would like to have it at the ball of my foot to have a better feel for the controls. It looks like I can flip the pegs around and that will solve my issue but I have to wait till I get back from work.
