Default Bar risers

How far can you raise and set back with stock cables?

I lifted the bars up by 2” and back by 1 1/2.

I am 5”6” and it made the bars at a perfect position. Cost me a big $68 off amazon.

If you are curious I can post pics and describe what I did.

Please post pics with links. Did you have to extend the cables? Thanks.

I didn’t have to change cables.
Gave me perfect bar position.

What you have to do is bolt the risers on first as far back as they can go, then just tighten the bottom bolt in the stock bar holder first, then attach the handlebars, push the risers and handle bars all the way forward and then tighten the top
bolt on the stock handle bars support.
There is not enough room to get a socket in there to put it in position and tighten both upper and lower bolts in both sides.

When it is done the handle bars do not move though.

it is important you buy the risers that are meant for 1” handle bars. I posted screen shots off Amazon.

The speedometer will not fit in stock location so I just drilled a couple holes on top of the risers and screwed it to that.

It made it better now you can see the Speedo without looking down.

I went with reach handlebar. the brake line is as tight as possible without damaging it I believe. (when at locking position) you can still wiggle it, but only a hair.
