On the RGU I had a Battle Ax BT-45 150 series tire mounted frontwards. I know there are differing opinions on the forwards vs backwards thing. My thought is the tire is designed to move water from the center to edges when rotating in the forwards direction. What happens when you are riding in the rain with a backwards mounted tire? That said I never had a problem in the 10K plus miles I owned the RGU and was DD.
I had my Indy change the tire for me and used Ride On to balance it.
