TM magic finally
April of 2015 indie installed ThunderMax
been raked over the coals ever since...to put it mildly.
tech support finally said unit was faulty and replaced it April 2016
Still couldn't get a proper tune but it wasn't flaky at least.
everyone thought my bike ran awesome .. and said my mpg of 34-36mpg highway,
27-31mpg all around was normal .. only i knew the difference.
i scheduled dyno tune for next week.. that tech was gonna build me map
from the dyno....
4-5 days ago I poked around tm's maps..
found one magic map.
Using it straight from the can bike has never run this good.
I touch the throttle.. bike wants to tear away from my hands...
At any speed in any gear. awesome
I did mpg checks. 70 mi of mixed was 43.5mpg
60mi of all city stop /go 38mpg
70 mi all highway 70-80mph was 49.5mpg
impossible to believe but completely true.
i ran auto map after each run..
now the program said it's bout maximized
after less than 200mi..
even tho I'm curious to document a session,
i canceled dyno session

Maybe tuner will do it cheap and a beer in some open time slot..
i don't see how he could improve what I have now,, but never know for sure.
