Default PC-V auto tune

Why is the Auto Tune not popular?
Not everyone has acess to a dyno and good tech to operate it, or wants to retune every time he makes a mod.

On my Kawi, I borrowed my Mates Auto Tune with wide and sensor, tuned over several road runs, and then removed it, plugging the no longer needed sensor hole in the pipe. Several Mates have now done this and, given no dyno acess, it seems to work fine on the butt dyno
So why not?

In the wrong forum and I now see that AT is popular after all

My 08 RK only has one O2 sensor so it looks like the single sensor universal model for me unless I am prepared to weld into a new chrome pipe.
Is is a big advantage to be able to tune each cylinder invidually?

Got it from the parts drawing and 2 sensors

That is great and I can buy a 2 sensor pipe and 2 sensor auto tune

Sorry for the uninformed question when it is so simple,

My first FI Harley in 45 years of HD ownership

Why leave the Auto Tune on once tuned?

I have recycled the same AT device over several bikes once tuned. The PC-V stays installed.
O2 bung is plugged and a resistor plugged into the connector to fool the ECU

Does anyone make such a resistor connector?
Is this possible?
Is there any drawback, other than reinstalling the next time you make a mod?
