I finally received the cables on Tuesday. I was out of town Monday until today so no time to do anything. I installed the TTS CD on my laptop and completed the software update. I need to do the Interface update now. The instructions say to hook everything up, turn on the power on the bike and update. I "assume" this update won't make an difference to the tune that is already on the bike? I'm ready to dive into this, hoping for lots of help from ya'll. LOL
By the way, while I got ya on the line. Is there a way to do a screen shot of the settings and post it here for you to look at? Just thinking ahead.
Along with the Mastertune and DataMaster software you also downloaded the tuning and instruction manual. Print it out and make it easily accessible.
Start studying to understand procedures and practice uploading and downloading your original (.MTE) calibration and then practice downloading new or updated calibrations.
Once you've got an understanding how the software works you can start making best guess changes to tables (best to make 1 change at a time) and then study the log files so you can get a feel for what changes what and how much.
Just takes time to learn but when you've spent the time and effort to get proficient there's a ton of satisfaction from miles of smiles when it's right.

I'm sorry. I was not clear at all in my question, ( Can anyone tell me where to start?). What I meant to ask is, Can anyone tell me where to find or how to view the current tune?
I have printed out the user guide and plan to study it at length, Just been busy with work, out of town a lot and, Just got the cables. I hope to spend a lot of time this weekend learning and looking. Thanks.

I can't help with the TTS but with the thundermax its the thundermax folder somewhere or in documents folder. If you know the name of it or what the letters are after the . do a search for it
I think I understand now. I guess my problem is that it was tuned by someone else so, the tune would be on the "tuners" computer.
True and that would be a start. Ask them for the file.
Now, with that in mind and only as a last ditch effort you can take the .MTE file and contact TTS. Ask them pretty please to convert the MTE to usable file for you. You may have to pucker up but sometimes it works.
