05 road glide ECU question

had to take my 05 road glide to the dealer for a bad ECU .. dealer married a 32534-05c to the bike and it started right up...can i buy a used 32498-05 and it do the same thing as 32534-05c

I don't think a stock 32498-05 will work because it's for VRODs, but i've wondered whether you can take one and have it reflashed for big twin calibrations. you can definitely get them on ebay cheaper than ones that are original for big twins, and i *think* that they are the same ECM as the big twin -05 ECMs. someone correct me.
