2009 Fatbob throttle issue

When it got warm enough to ride my fatbob in minnesota, I noticed that when I eased up on the throttle when approaching a curve, the speed would drop dramatically from 70mph to 30mph (nerve wracking). I called the dealer to get a throttle position sensor. They told me I need to bring the bike in. They said TPS need adjustment after installation and only dealer has the equipment to do it. Any one has experienced this? Feedback and guidance is appreciated.
