This morning's ride was a nice brisk 37 degrees. I really need to get some new gloves. Got the rest of me covered but darn were my hands cold.
Welcome to FL OP and yeah... bugs are a part of life. I gave up trying to keep them off the bike and just wash when I feel like it and do my best to get the remains off. Probably gonna get her detailed at some point but not for at least a few more weeks. Still decent enough weather for me to ride.
Not sure where in FL you are - but the routine might have to change for a day or so. It got cold in central FL today. Ain't nobody got time for this. I wanna ride.

The weatherman said that temps would be plummeting!
ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE 50'S!!!
FOR THE RECORD - I'm "way down south" in West Palm Beach. The temps "plummeted" last night into the 50's. I spoke to my son in NJ and he said they were experiencing the mid 20's and my daughter in MD said they hit the lower 30's. Florida sounds just fine to me! And Lauren, you are correct. If it wasn't for the rain I'd be out and about right now also.
I almost never, never, never clean my bike. Admittedly, I put a lot of miles on it so it gets a washing every 5000 miles at the Harley dealership.
And even if I did not log that much mileage so quickly, I still would not be a slave to the bike. It is there for me to have fun and if he gets a little dirty, so what.
