Clearwater to Flagler through Ocala Natl Forest 600 miles not a single one!!!!! I splated a couple other things but no love bugs.

Lots of tasty plants for them to munch on down there. Hope they stay there and not migrate north. Have not had any here (Leesburg area) since the storms of 2004-05 whipped through here.

Just back from Weekend in Houston. Didn't know these suckers were down there. Messed up the truck pretty good. Glad I wasn't on the bike!

Saw a few in daytona yesterday (April 28th). Was down town looking at all the Jeeps in town for Jeep Beach 2017. Had a guy ask me about the bugs.

For what it is worth, I just came back from north of Orlando and typically… No love bugs.

If I remember correctly my friend, those bloggers pop up in June and July or something like that. I may be wrong but they are usually not around at this time of year.

I just looked it up and evidently their mating season is may and September.
