Joe is going cross country on his WG in about a week to meet up with us. I think it is about 2500 miles in 4 days. I think I would need a touring bike to attempt something like that.

My dear wife says YES to a tour to FLA,
but wants to go through Georgia on the way.
I think this is the start of a plan!!!

That is great Dale! Hope you can make it. Many wives will be at the rally.

Don't know why everyone is making a big deal 'bout the Wide Glide myself. I would love to take the time off to tour the country on mine. Yea Ultra would be more comfy, but dang sure would not be as cool.

Ours is set up for distance. Fits well. And my old handmedown saddlebags can take more than bagger bags.

If you're going the distance that time of year, you might consider making Key West too. And think about swinging through the Florida panhandle, US 98 along the Gulf is a great ride.
