If we don't want left and right sides nailed down, then we need to draw a radius circle around the "hot spots". Ocala, Tampa, Ft. Meyers, Daytona, Miami/Ft. L, do we do Leesburg AND Deland (or make them one zone)? etc.
It gets more complicated than face-value. What about JaxFatboy holding down Jacksonville, Sofadog lounging up in the Gainsville area, etc, etc, etc.
We associate a lot of the GA folks to Ocala when they're out of town, but we target Atlanta (and surrounding areas) when we think about heading towards the Dragon. Our Keys get attacked from both left and right Florida coasts, and a few coming straight down the middle of the state. Who gets Lake Okeechobee, or which side of it?
I think our challenge comes down to all of us reaching agreement on how best to define territories. Once we do that, it makes sense that we declare a "Fort" (I'm just making this up and throwing it out there) that would act as host/coordinator/keeper of all local streets and shortcuts/knows where the bars are/knows where the dive restaurants are/etc.
Obviously there are manys areas of overlap, and I used the word "Territory", but I don't mean it in a sense of ownership. 1of2 (Dale) is a good example for this point. He opens his home as a stop-over for just about any event you can name. Daytona Bikeweek, Biketoberfest, Leesburg, etc. etc. Folks enjoy this ability to roll into a friendly "fort". I kinda would like this spread around for all our areas, or maybe share the load with Dale. Folks who live in Leesburg, or Daytona, etc. The more localized we can make it, the better the "local" knowledge will be.
I'm just saying..... (my .02 cents, so to speak).

Fort Screamin' Ego...kinda like the sound of that
