Sounds like you had a great time!! I love riding up that way. Great roads everywhere!! I just got back from West Tennessee a few weeks ago had a blast riding the Natchez Trace. Lots of wildlife.
Wanna ride up to Warner Robbins and check out the museum at Robbins AFB? Would have to get an early start as it is 300 miles each way for me.
129 all the way up is a nice ride through several small Ga towns.
I don't mind early starts as I get up early for WORK. I don't know what time you retired fellows call early.......
I don't either, When you retire you have to turn in your watch and all the clocks in your house. But I can leave anytime after the big yellow thing comes up. R.B.R.
Sefferdog, I can't believe we didn't run in to each other. Just got home Monday around 4:30. The weather was beautiful up there and the roads are unbelievable. I was shocked how good the Ultra handles the twisty roads. Was a little reluctant to put it in to the curves like the Heritage, but the Ultra makes you brave and no scraped floorboards. RBR
129 is a nice ride up to Georgia. Done that one twice now. Early morning means fog, so be careful and have a great ride.

Really wish I could have gotten the time off to head up there with you, but just couldn't. I am glad I was able to sneak up there for a couple days anyway!!
SOFA-dog??????????????? Sounds like a story behind this.
OK, here is the story, back in 7th grade we were coming up with nicknames. Sofa is a another name for my last name. I will let you figure out that one. Hence I became "sofa" I picked up the dog in my later years when that term was being thrown around. So my friends started calling me Sofadog, some still refer to me as just Sofa.
So that is the story behind the story. Exciting wasn't it.
Sounds like a great ride DAWG! Once my scoot is reliable I would love to do something similar with some people I trust or even solo.
So..I still trump in the nick names story don't I? (damnit) haha
Funny thing is I had the name Phlip and these comic turned it into something else with the same word! Lol

Yea, your nickname would be hard to top!! But from what I gather it was hard earned!!
