Aug 8th is the date for me....that was the date that was picked, and I wrote it on my wall calendar already, that way Barbara can't make me do other stuff.
(Unlike this group, we gots rules in our house.....one is "put **** on the calendar".)
Who the heck started this thread anyhow..?someone who wanted to ride to Daytona....
(are they still going?)
Sounds like a plan ...any other North Cubans gonna make it...TJD? Big Al? Masterblaster you gonna be back?
And most likely will be an overnighter for me....
Your welcome to spend the night here as long as you don't mind the couch. Ron will be here and using the spare room. The couch is comfortable though.
We need to carve something in stone already...
August 8th was mentioned (and since the 1s thas already passed....)
The person who started this post and wanted to ride to Daytona should step up.
New guy here - up for a ride out. Daytona is a great biker town but the pubs are kind of close. It has so many pubs that it feels a bit saturated compared to Tampa with it's huge bike nights. If I want some miles I head to Trader Jacks or the Patch in Samsula or Pub 44 in NSB.
Some days I want to ride and some afternoons just want to hang.
I live just off the river 1/2 way between Iron Horse and Main St so kind of close to all the hangouts. IH is my pub of choice. I like cold beer but like lookin/talkin about the bikes in the parking lot a bit more.
Plenty of ways to link up some fun stops. North to Flagler Beach, west to Dog Pound, South to White Eagle then south to IH. You can always add Sinners at Destination or over to Main St. Just depends on what's going on? Old school biker party at White Eagle at the end of each month is always FUN!
Post the plan/meet up spot and look for the Dirty Fatboy.
FYI - Church of Chop hot rod and bike show sat. Aug 29th @ Destination Daytona.
