I have coverage through Harley. But my bf looked into getting coverage through AAA and they are nuts I think they quoted him like 169.00. I have triple A but just for my truck....even then I have issues with them because of my rims. I am looking to build my own trailer.
Self inflicted..I had to replace a switch in the right side switch control....long story short...if you ain't a micro surgeon, and know exactly what to expect...leave it alone....anyway got it all together and thought it was ok except that the brake light switch was sticking on...was in the process of taking it to the dealer when it just refused to do anything starting wise....no fuel pump running when you turn the run switch on..and no nothing when you hit the start button... the lights don't even dim out...now I'm thinking that maybe a fuse popped this morning...it was really humid when I got the bike out of the living room..and a lot of condensation had formed on the bike from being cold...maybe it was enough to short a fuse..gonna check it in the morning...also I now have AAA Plus RV coverage...was only 30.00 dollars a year more...downside is I have to wait 3 days for it to kick in....still cheaper than paying for a tow I suppose
And major thanks to everyone that offered to help me out...I appreciate it a ton...and special thanks to cHarley and Mike (Wide Glide) who gave technical support over the phone....
We have progressive.and have towing included . And if any one is every in the Ft myers area I also have a trailer Enclosed with Condors set up for a full dresser and a Dyna / sportster
Someone posted on the Forum a couple of weeks ago about a towing service offered by AMA. I don't have that one just thought I'd throw it in if anyone was looking to change services.
Hey SP you gotta get that scoot back on the road...been down awhile you must be gettin stir crazy.

I know it's late for any advice at this point, but the brake light issue is real common when you have opened up and reinstalled the clam-shell housing. If you don't wedge a piece of cardboard between the brake lever and the switch, the end of the switch gets broken off when the housing is reinstalled and the the brake light stays on continuously.
BTW - How many times in the past couple of weeks have you wished you still had that Dyna? J/K
No the 169.00 was quoted to my bf for just his bike alone(It's that RV+ Bullchit).
My truck is insured under AAA my bike is insured under Progressive and my towing for the bike is covered under HD and I just found out my bike is coverd under Progressive too.
It will be nice to have my own trailer....that way if a friend is ever in need I will be there for them.

thats easy....NONE zero nada.....the Bluegoose was a good bike...but Da King is so much nicer of a ride......besides like I said this was self inflicted...
I found out about the brake light switch when I read the manual..unfortunately I got the manual AFTER I had split the switch housing..oh well live and learn....
