If it's grip you're lookin for.. check Pirelli's Night Dragon. I put a set on my Train and love them...
and I tend to ride hard in the corners. I've got about 4k on them and they're still lookin like new.
That's good news - I had Pirelli' on my list of favored. I wonder if that MT90HB will fit my heritage? They do have the 150/80H-16 if that won't. $120 seems reasonable for a Pirelli.
Thanks to everyone for your replys. For my situation I went with a matched set of Metzler's and are performing very well. But I do appreciate all the input you provided.

I do see that 150 in the size chart from motorcycle-superstore. They have it listed at $121. and change. I think you'll be very pleased with these tires. I know I am..
I think I'll go ahead and buy it - the front has a LOT of life left in it, so by the time that needs a change, I'll have a better idea. The E3's seem to be very well spoken of, but I'm a bit anxious about anything Dunflop after the stockers. I kid you not, the bike and I got sideways in a minnit one day when a cager changed lanes without a signal...I was actually glad for my dirtbike skills keeping that monster upright. I wanted to STOP, not do a stinkin' power slide!
Edit: WOOF! NO SALES TAX OR SHIPPING!!! AaWOOOOOOOOOT! $122. to my door! Now to get some DynaBeads and find my tire spoons.

As stated elsewhere, my bike is at the dealer for new bars. They just called to tell me "the mechanic is just finising it. But he noticed your rear tire is bald, and you need new brake pads". Quote = 450.00..... had I known that, I would not have gotten the bars yet. But, having no way to go look at the tire mysef, I was not about to tell them to go ahead and replace the tire until I can check the condition myself. Not sure why changing the bars and fixing a tranny leak would lead to inspeacting the tires and brakes. I was there just two weeks ago because the brake light were not working when the rear brake pedal was pressed.
