Congratulations on passing...never stop practicing!
In Ohio we now allow students to bring their pre-approved scooters to MSF class. I have taught a few of them over the past couple of years. I am not an expert on trikes, however I thought you needed the motorcycle endorsement even for a trike...I could be wrong...

I got mine thru eBay for $850 ( $300 cheaper than anywhere else and they are new, not reconditioned units) and installed them myself in the course of a couple hours. I took my time routing the wiring for the oil temp sensor otherwise is is just a matter of plug and play. My speedo is 1mph slower than what my GPS says (which was my main concern) so I am VERY satisfied with that. Have had them in for about 9 months now and they have performed flawlessly.
Here is a link. I buy a lot of my stuff from these guys:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DAKOT...#ht_2318wt_857
One of the best improvements I have made.... Go For It THROTTLEJUNKIEDAVE !!!
Dammit, stop, stop. Those gauges look like crap...yes they do. Okay over the impulse to click on link.

There is no doubt of the amount of attention that dash must get jetspeed, very well done brother.
Jor, good job on the test kid! I am very pleased to hear that course is mandatory, before it was all avid riders would strongly suggest to take it to make Motorcycling safer for everyone involved. +1 at your own pace, definitely take your time and you will know when you are ready to ride with a group, Or maybe start with baby steps and join a HOG ride!
As for the trike, ABATE has been trying to get them under a different class from Motorcycles because they are a different style and could be considered safer. However that is obviously still up for debate
