As for the endorsement, they have to send the information electronically. They were closed today so that should be sent tomorrow and they said we should all be good by Thursday. I'm just hoping my current ID is current enough to not need the book of paperwork. Otherwise it will be quite some time as unfortunately, I have 0 proof of being a US citizen

If you have the newer drivers license (this year) with a star on it. You will not need to bring anything else with you.
But, if you have the older one, you need to bring a birth cert or a passport, or....actually go to this site for all the info:
