i was thinking of thr one in Ft. Pierce, i belive the address is 5000 okeechobee rd.
i was thinking of taking A1A to indian river. i was planning on leaving around 9 am
and get there around 1130 - 1200. i would take 95 to the turnpike back home.
Just got done putting about 35 miles on mine, riding up and down CR 13 here. We even got christened by some rain. Not what i was expecting, but it only lasted about 10 minutes.
Might go out again tomorrow, but still not ready to hit the main roads yet.

I was up your way Thursday Bill. Rode from Ocala up through Green Cove Springs, down 13 to 206 over to A1a. Around the loop in Daytona, then 40 back to Ocala.

Nice little ride it seems like u had.
I'm itching to either take 13 to the Shands Bridge then go south on 17 to Palatka, 206, then 13 back home. Or just the reverse.
The grating on the Shands bridge has me concerned since I haven't ridden over it on the bike yet. Never been over the bridge in Palatka on 206.

Let me know when you want to venture out a little further. I am off work Thurs - Sat and ride over that way quite often. We could go out for a little ride. Hope you don't mind if we skirt around Palatka, hate riding there. If you want I can PM you my cell number.

Just keep it at a steady, reasonable speed. Not much difference between a regular road, and a bridge with grating that I can tell.

I had to go look online, I didn't remember any grating on the Shands Bridge and I go over it a few times a month, lol. It will be no problem for you. After a few more miles under your belt you will never even notice those types of things.
