someday...would love to ride to Andersonville, Ga.
(for those non-history buffs, Andersonville is the site of an infamous
Confederate prisoner of war camp during the American civil war...
also now the site of the National Prisoner of War Museum? (I think I am corrrect).
I think there is a ride every year in Sept...called 'the ride home'.
I have an old card that says: www.powridehome.org
Will put in on the list!

Had a great time today. It was great seeing Wade, and always super to see my Sturgis buddies Jay & Eddie. The day was warm, and nothing too exciting about running the interstate.
It was very worth saving the available time (using the super highways) to visit the Civil War site of Andersonville. Additionally we toured the National POW Museum which was part of the grounds. The Andersonville National Cemetery speaks for itself.
What an awesome day. 600 miles, and tired as all get out, but thoroughly enjoyed the day. Great to see Paul. Hope his ticker is still ok. At least until he can get to the cardiologist! Always a pleasure riding with Jay as well. Thanks for the ice cream Eddie! Made the rest of the ride much more enjoyable!! Most of my pics look like Paul's but here is one.....
