Amen to that brother!! Food sucks outside of the tri-state area. Moved from NJ to Fl to TN and have had a decent bagel, roll, pizza etc since leaving NJ.

Try Sonnys steaks in Hollywood...my ex boss was a retired Philly cop..said Sonnys was the best he'd tasted outside Philly....you vant bagels dahlink?...just ride down to Miami Beach...place called Klotzman's Deli...subs? try Sotinni's in Pompano....I might have to get a ride together and show you guys where all the good eats are down here...

I knew this would ruffle some feathers. I have no desire to travel to Miami for a bagel or sub.

LOL, I laugh everytime I hear "Why don't you move back....". The point is certain foods are better up North. It is like prefering certain meals that your mom would make over your spouses. I love my wife's cooking, but nothing beats some of my moms recipe. This does not mean I have to move back in with my mother.

Just thinking out loud, but most of the food named for a city was not even invented in that city. Want some of mom's cooking, go to mom's. Want a "New York" bagel, go to New York. Rye bread, go to Israel??? Is there a city named "Rye"? Hell, it probably came from New York. At least ThrottleJunkieDave doesn't eat and tell. What were we talking about???

Why yes, there is a Rye NY.... And I think we were commenting on SP shopping for bread...
