I was really taken by surprise with the Broken wings that Sick Puppy gave Phil and I. I was not really able to say anything at the time because it moved me so. I would like to thank the Florida Crew as a group for all of the help that y’all were to Carolyn and I through this most difficult time. A special thanks to all that made the pilgrimage to the west coast to visit, you know who you are so I will not name names here.
You guys are the best and I appreciate your continued understanding while I still heal, I am sorry that I was not able to hang out more with everybody at the rally but I am still in recovery after all this time and I only have so much in me daily and once that is gone I am done. I believe it will be better next year as I am getting stronger everyday.
Oh well, I just wanted to say thanks to all and wanted to let y’all know that while I am celebrating Thanksgiving this year that there will be a special place in my heart for all of my Brothers and Sisters of the Florida Crew because I am truly thank full that I have been lucky enough in my life to have met and befriended each and every one of you. Everybody be safe in your travels and don’t forget to enjoy your family and friends as much as you can during the upcoming holidays. I love you all, Dave
PS: Did anybody take a picture of Phil and I getting our wings? Have not seen one yet.

I think I can speak for the majority of the Crew when I say that you and Phil are
family and as such got our prayers and help without question or hesitation..had it been me or anyone else in the family in similar circumstances you guys would have been there for us too...we're just glad you getting better, and I for one, am inspired by the strength and resiliency you guys have shown through out your ordeals...
Just doublechecked my pictures Dave .. My camera was starting to mess up then .. Don't have any although was there at the time.. Got no pics of Jeff with his bunny ears either that may be when my camera was on it's way out LOL

DOUBLE
Especially the "and I for one, am inspired by the strength and resiliency you guys have shown through out your ordeals."
I second what JD says, I know I have said many times in many ways how the Crew has indeed helped my recovery process. The strength and heart that you have shown is remarkable. The thought of Jim presenting us with such a gift not only shows the respect you all have but the love too. Yeah I said the L word for a bunch of guys, bikers no less. But let's face it, it's there brothers and sisters and I have no shame in saying it.
Two badasses for sure, can knock them down but they wont be down for long. Happy both of you have progressed and pulled through some of the toughest challenges you will ever face.
Brother Jim said it all for me. We are glad you guys bounced back and whatever we can do to help that along we will gladly do. We are not just going to talk about sticking together. We will do what we can when the time comes.
I just met each of you this year and have been blown over by the show of support for each when needed and the strength and perseverance shown by those in hardship. It is truly an inspiration.
As far as pictures, it's possible we were all too moved at that time to take any.
Well put Pup. I had some quality time with Phil going and coming to the rally. Dave I'm so happy with your recovery and to have you riding with the Crew again. You both are an inspiration to the Crew.
