My last bike was a Yamaha Road Star, which is an air-cooled, belt-driven, pushrod-actuated, V twin cruiser. It was really nice, and is the closes I've ever ridden to a Japanese version of the Harley. It was a geat bike. In fact, if it had come in a version that was like the Ultra Classic, there's every possibility I would own one of those now instead of my UC. It was a great bike.
I'm very happy with my Ultra, but I still consider finding another Road Star 1600 to make into a bobber.

I don't care what you ride, if it has 2 wheels, I'll ride with you. I forgot who said it back there, if he was offered a HD he would jump on it. That is the truth. I had to hear a bad mouthing of HD the other day from another guy, then the story ended with him getting turned down for a loan from harley. I'm tired of hearing how bad harley is from people who don't have them. And in my regular riding group, I am the only harley. From now on, when they start their mouths, I'm starting my engine...that should drown out their annoyance.
Sorry guys, I have been sidelined with Bronchitis. Two weeks and still don't have my voice back. Been staying out of the cool air though. I did get a few miles in this afternoon on a trip to Wal-Mart. It's official now though. I will be moving to Ocala the first week of June. See you soon.

First it's not a dispute, and second, no one is going to win. It's about personal preference, I have had all kinds of bike and I happen to like Harleys the best, others like other brands, so power to them. Like, buy, ride what you want.

Agreed!! I'm not saying that one bike is better than the others, it's just my preference on what I like. I loved my Hondas and Yamahas when I owned them, now I love my Harley. Plain and simple.
