apples and oranges...apart from frame w/diff rake & suspension the 16"/3.5" front tire really sets it down compared to the 21; & windshield don't hurt either.
looks like you've got some clean (internal wiring) mini apes there too!
Dave my brother...now Da King has a brother too (we'll have to park with a Sporty or some lesser bike between us , so we don't get them mixed up)...congrats!! , Road Kings rule,,,,and cHarley we need the bags to carry a LARGE supply of bullshit repellent...
I got a supercharger I can sell ya nd you'll see what a Gas Hog Is!!
I went to get my haircut yesterday and I rode up on my harley. the barber seeing this finds it necessary to start making small talk about motorcycles. His experience with Harleys centered in and ended around the eighty's. started talking about carburetors and asked about how I like fuel injection.... got around to 2 into 1 pipes, heavy breathers, cams excetra.
he commented yeah but you can't make adjustments without a carburetor ... so I explained to him about ecm, tuners stuff I don't know what I'm talking about.
Then he throws out yeah but you can't add a supercharger to a fuel injected motor.... I started laughing like hell and said ahh you can, it just might not be a good idea for fuel mileage .
Dave, if I ever get a day off (after my little road trip next week) I want to hook up and check out the new ride. Work has been crazy though. I have not had a day off in 5 weeks.

ROFLMAO!
I think I would have pissed my pants laughing so hard! That's great..
Maybe you can't put a supercharger on there and expect to get much more life out of the bike either, ya know.. gas or mechanically.

I had put a 120/19 on the Softail which really made it ride better but it was still nothing like the ride of this road king. The bar's are 12's and are 1" 1/4 fat bars with internal wiring. All the other lines are ss braided already.
