Thanks MJ skin cancer is somethng all bike riders have to deal with and thank for sharing.
When we were kids no one ever talked about skin cancer. Wish they had warned me. Remember the Fl. Crew's first trip to Key West? I had just had that big one removed from my face just under my eye. Swollen and a black eye. That was a sore trip because that helmet pressure and wind did not feel too good. That is why you always see me riding with long sleeve shirt and gloves.

I remember it well Mike & I felt for ya as I knew you were in some discomfort throughout the trip. the older fla crew knows my riding rules... the only skin you'll see is maybe my fingertips & me no ridie in summer!!!

+1 MJ. Growing up in the S FL we lived in the sun and were always out on the water. Nobody was worried or knew much about sun and the big C back then.
I had to have surgery on my face again this week to have another squamous cell cut out. Sun exposure is one of the reasons you're more likely to me me wearing my 3/4 helmet & face shield these days instead of my preferred skid lid.
I have had basal celll removed from my back and shoulders , left arm. being a kid in fla we alway ran around with no shirt or shoes in the sun all fhe time

OK, I'm with Reb, from here out I'm only going to ride after sunset and only in the winter months...Throttle Junky Dave, what was it daddy said.....F...k Fight or Hold the Light... I sure ain't sitting on the bench waiting to die, I'm riding sunshine or rain...
I like that attitude Kimbo.
F*CK FIGHT OR HOLD THE LIGHT!
The f*cking part I can appreciate...the fighting part I have good knowledge of....but the hold the light part escapes me...if you need a light for either of those activities your SOL...just saying...
I'm just glad to know it wasn't what I was thinking.. Glad it was your handsome chrome dome Kimbo... You don't have to worry about the doo rag in front of me...
