As many of you know I bought a new to me 09 Ultra a week before I took a 15 day 6000 mile trip. Wade (Seferdog) was with me for the purchase and helped me decide so a thanks to him.
Over the next week I had to outfit the bike for the trip plus everyday use. Dale (1of2) was a great help in telling me what was good to get and what didn't work well with the bike as he has one and went through all this before so a big Thank You Dale.
The Trip..... I had talked to Hugh about Sturgis he told me they were going but not directly and was to be in Sturgis 1 maybe 2 days. Sounded good to me and he and Mark who was at the first rally allowed me to ride with them. It was a great ride very little interstate a lot of heat until we got to Colorado and some absolutely great scenery. So a big thanks to them for allowing me to ride along.
I understand that Eddie would arbitrarily pick a time/place to throw his helmet off his bike. Talk about skid marks! LOL Heeee heeeee heeee
You had an awesome path traveled Hugh!!!!! Like Just Dave said on another thread, I too am tired after watching each mile go by on the spot-tracker. Ha ha ha
