Good and Bad with Sticky's .. Usually if the Title says where catches my interest as a rule can't run down to the Keys if only have 4-6 hours to work with and am sure the same with others .. on the other hand if get used to knowing how to look for the sticky's may turn out to be a good thing ..
My 2 cents,
While I like the look of PoorBoy's page, it makes alot more work for the moderator. And once the "sticky" is removed, would those threads return to the main page for further viewing and comments?
It might be easier on Dale (and us) if all rides were simply posted with the prefix "LET'S RIDE", then the DATE, then the LOCATION. And once you click on the post, we could only wish the ride info would be laid out like PoorBoy's. Check this out:

This is a ride just for the heck of it. (the best kind).
I do not care where they are. Georgia's looks cluttered at the top to me. Lot of work for Dale to, Paul has nothing else to do right now. That's just my .02.
Well, if you want to be technical, if we use a "format" to all our posts like Paul uses in the GA forum, then that's a "rule" (kindasorta) and I remember many threads that turned into real good ones when things went off topic and segued into other things.
There's an old saying..."if it ain't broke..."
(PS. No offense to Paul, he is doing a great job with the GA Crew!)

Hold on..... no format here, not sure what you mean. GA Crew is not doing ride posts any different then any of you. Some have detail, some have dates, plenty are saying "Ride Tomorrow?".
For now I'm throwing them into the sticky area until the date goes by. And yes, because I have the time.
post rides normally....if no one responds....it gets dropped to the bottom. If it
gets a few hits, it stays on top. Post it in the stickies...I will never see it.
What about a sticky that takes you to some sort of calendar, like Google Calendar, that GA Crew and FLA Crew could posts ride on.
Then you could go to the sticky or bookmark the calendar.
Also you could put other upcoming events; Ocala, Bike Week Dates, Sanford Bikefest, etc...
It could be your one stop check in to see what rides are upcoming so you can better plan for them.
You could still post a thread, linking the calendar, stating that you have a ride upcoming. It would take some getting used to, but I think it would be nice to see what's coming up so you could plan.
Just a thought
