Great Video
Georgia has "Open Carry" and it is great to see folks now and then with a little something on their sides. Personally, I like the concealed-side of defense.
Sorry if I offend others here; not sure how many Pot smoking, Birkenstock sandel wearing, Nickelback song singing, tree hugging, Green peace supporting, War protesting, long haired friends' of Jesus we have here!
But know I'll defend you anyway. My King James version of the Bible, a Copy of our Constitution & Bill of Rights, and my AR Field Manual are probably all I need to get around town with, and to live my life.
P.S. Throw-in my copy of HD's Touring Shop Manual. Now I'm good.
Oh at least it was a real dog not a mass produced taco bell influenced miniature copy of a real dog (calm down I even love the rat dogs), the dog also looked pretty healthy and the guy cared for the dog that he got for a beer, probably saved that dog from a miserable existence. Remember this was the 70's before PETA when you could still legally eat dog, cat, cow and have all the MSG and trans fats you wanted, Mc Donald's French Fries were real Fries deep fried in unhealthy lard. The word metrosexual wasnt invented yet and neither was the word Yuppie or DUI, frikken hippies were filthy hippies, cops would kick your *** instead of locking you up, the good old days. Now everyone is so judgmental and busy bodied. Fk it, just ride, and carry a gun to discourage anyone from telling you how to raise your dog, cat or kids.
Nice video keywest Ben
Oh video camera hadn't been invented yet either
Great film keywest Ben
Now that I am ranting I have to ask, Steve did you mount a super 8 camera on the helmet back then?
But you might like this camera mount that I fabricated for my tandem bike. I used a swivel head from a tripod, I could turn the camera in any direction while I was riding. Actually made some really good videos in Key West, St. Augustine, Deerfield Beach and Boca Raton. Oh, also in Shark Valley in the Everglades.
I still have the bike, and the camera mount (at my mom's, in the garage). It's a 1969 Schwinn, it weighs a ton, but me and the wifey still take it to the beach sometimes.
